I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Azim Premji University, India. I specialize in the economics of crime and bias-motivation. I use causal inference methods to examine policy relevant questions using various interesting secondary data sources. I also have work in health economics, especially health policy, with an emphasis on social security and disability insurance. I am currently in the process of developing research in the area of economics of religion.
I currently teach microeconomic theory, empirical methods, and data analysis using softwares such as R and Stata at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
